Another day, another misdirected "account verification" email in Gmail meant for someone else. This time, Spanish language Twitter. Getting tired of Gmail's sloppiness, so I verified the account, and immediately changed their password.

Just got a couple more misdirected emails in Gmail, meant for someone else. This time, confirmation/activation code for MagicJack. Constantly get emails meant for other people in Gmail. That's why I'd NEVER use them for any "vital" correspondence! Not sure what algorithm they use, but it's a shitty one!

Still getting emails in Gmail meant for other people. Apparently, I'm not the ONLY one with this issue!

I'm glad that I use Gmail as a "secondary" account, and NOT for anything important! I get LOTS of "misdirected" mail apparently meant for OTHER people, yet it's sent to MY email address. Mails like account activations, banking statements, cable bills, etc., which are meant for OTHER people ( Read more... )
